Praise & Worship

“Sing to the Lord, all the earth! Sing of His glorious name! Tell the world how wonderful He is.” Psalms 66:1-2

The Beulah Heights Church Praise Ministry is three fold; it consists of:

  • The Praise and Worship team who lead us during our worship services
  • The Praise Choir Ministry
  • The Chosen Praise Dance Ministry.

Our Mission

The BHC Praise Music Ministry three-fold mission is;

  • To glorify God
  • To proclaim God’s word through music
  • To minister to the congregation through those who serve in the Beulah Heights Church Music Ministry

We strive to glorify Jesus Christ by allowing Him to use the BHC Music Ministry as an instrument of worship. As a ministry, we strive:

  • To be effective through worshipful singing and instrumentation
  • Prepare the hearts of the congregation to receive the word of God
  • Bless the Lord with all our hearts and mind

The Bible tells us in Psalms 150: Praise him for his mighty act; praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord!

The Beulah Heights Praise Music Ministry follows the design of the Lord found in his word. Let everything that has breath Praise the Lord!

Praise Ministry Teams

The Chosen Praise Dance Team

Purpose We engage the congregation in actively praising and worshipping God during regular and special services. As part of the Praise Music Ministry we strive to:

  • Cast down barriers to authentic praise and worship. 2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
  • Educate our dancers on the appropriate way to offer praise and worship to the Lord. John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Psalm 29:2 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
  • Live a lifestyle of praise and worship. Psalm 34:1 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. Psalm 103:1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
  • Reinforce the commitment to prayer, fasting, and studying the Word that God requires of true worshippers. James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Mark 9:29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
